Here you can define product groups which then can be selected for products.
Product groups are created by selecting Sales / File administration / Product groups.
You then select the correct product group on the product to enable grouping of products according to product group.
Under Sales>Admin you can control if product group should be required for every product registered.
If using product groups you can run queries and more for selected product group.
