Temporary discount per department using Product rates

1. Create departments (if not available): Admin > File administration > Departments

2. Create Stockrooms (if not available): Admin > File administration > Stockrooms

3. Create Product Rate: Sales > File administration > Product rates

Select Period and then From and To

(1) Select the product to make the price change on

(2) Select the department to make the price change on

(3) Type the price (calculate from the price you would like to sell at  / 1,24 for 24% 1,11 for 11%)
an make sure you have 4 decimal places.
For example in our example the Alpa Skíðaskór are at 21.000 full price. We would like to sell them on offer for 18.000. You need to calculate 18000/1.24 to get the offer price of 14516,1290 so that the sales price is calculated correctly. The price you type in is offer price without vat.

(4) It is possible to have text like Happy Hour, Offer etc. print on the invoice.

Then select Create complete the Product Rate registration.
