Stockroom

When creating or updating a product in the sales system users can select a stockroom for the product under the Stock tab as long as the product is marked for stock control. To create stockrooms in the system users must go under Admin > File administration > Stockrooms.

To create a new stockroom, users willneed to type into the text box the name of the stockroom and then select a sales department from the drop-down list and then click on . To edit an existing stockroom, users can click . To make the stockroom inactive simply press the button.

If a stockroom that has a department linked to it is made inactive then the department will become inactive as well. The department can be made active again under the page Admin > File administration > Departments.
