Importing data with the import wizard

If you have a file in Excel or CSV format that contains data that you want to import into Regla, you can use the Import Wizard to import it without first creating a template.

To import data using the Import Wizard, select
Administration / File Maintenance / Import Wizard

1. select the type of data you need to import
2. select the file delimter if it is a CSV file
3. select the file you want to import
4. select Upload File

For example, we have a product import here and have uploaded a file, and now have to pair the columns from the document to be imported to the corresponding column in Regla

1. you can show rules that apply to each field in the product file
2. you can select values ​​for fields that are blank in the document being imported
3. you can check to update products that already exist
4. you can select a template that matches the file being imported if it exists
5. select the correct column in Rule that matches the column in the document being imported
6. select Import to import the file
7. you can check for validation before importing
